I have a nephew that is gay.. and despite this I love him dearly and will always be there for him. I however do not support same sex marriage as it simply states in the bible that it is wrong. God created man and woman so that they together could unite as a couple and therefore procreate. This is not possible in same sex relationships. I don't think it is right but I do not judge people who live this lifestyle as it is not my place to judge because that is a higher authorities job.... Do you consider this discrimination? ok, lol, you think there is something mentally wrong with me? Well, maybe, but not as far as my sexuality goes. |

I was actually asking that girl this question, but that is ok. |

I never understood how people could view allowing more people to marry would somehow destroy marriage. Makes no sense to me.

I never understood how people could view allowing more people to marry would somehow destroy marriage. Makes no sense to me. You are right, it IS paper. Marriage is a legal contract. There is just a religious structure to the ceremony. And that isn't even necessary. So in a country that is supposed to advocate the separation of church and state, why are they letting people not allow this on religious grounds? |

If two guys wanna git married only to discover there are no front holes for their poles, well power to them. Maybe they can take turns sticking the old fishing pole up an electrical socket. They should both be able to get charges off of that one

Since marriage predates either christianity or judiaism, I don't see how the original one could have been in a church.... |
