express it in every aspect of their lives. In all of this, it is a choice. We went through a lot. It is easy to choose the words to draw out a thought, a reaction. It happens in every aspect of living. Down to the bare roots..where you are planted..what protects that ability to grow and produce..down to the bare. My opinion, my expression can only be me. One cannot place the future of the worlds view by making blanket reactions.. I am only one person. Men and women have a choice to decide of God. One thing I have learned through death is , that you have the energy to live your present. You can do it for no one else. I know where I will expend my energies, I hope it will gift encouragement for future. dear, regarding my last comment. i just wanted to say that you were lucky to have been born in a generation where the men were so respectful, gentle, honest, decent and all the good stuff that is why your marriage survived 25 years. thos days are almost gone for this generation!

She is trying to make a valid statement that in earlier generations put more emphasis on their families. But what she's not including is the lack of ability women had back then. Every situation is a very distinct and individual one, cannot just say "all" "everyone" because those 2 words make the point invalid.

It has always been my impression from people who try to convince me that God is great that he is a kind, loving, and forgiving being. Why should I be afraid of that? Unless of course all those people are lying to me. In which case I should probably fear those people. If they lied to me who knows what else they will try to do. Although of course then that means that the God they worship is actually Cruel, Malicious, and Unforgiving. And if that is the case I wouldn't want to associate myself with him anyway. Either way something just doesn't add up about a godfearing person.

This makes no sense, unless you are happy to be a sheep and blindly follow ... Then why is your god such a woman hater? Women are never treated as equals in the bible. How many female disciples did Jesus have? How many women were invited to the Last Supper? I will tell you want God fearing means. The Christian god fearing is all about the wages of sin being DEATH. If you sin, which is disobedience to god, YOU DIE. This is how a slave master keeps his people under control. You disobey, you DIE. For Christians, they have to be forgiven to escape this punishment. That is where Jesus comes in. He died for you. Because SOMEONE HAS TO PAY for your disobedience.
In my reality, God fearing is simply the realization that the law of cause and effect will eventually come back at you and you will reap what you sow. Jeannie. |
