one of mine was when i was 10. i was a girl scout and my troop was invited to stay on a WWII battleship for the weekend. it was a big boy scout get-together and they had extra space. i remember staying in the officer's quarters while all the boy scouts stayed below in hammocks. of course being the 10 year old i was, having all those boys there, really wasn't that bad while we were there, we toured the ship, saw a few movies, ran around and played with things we probably shouldn't have, etc. there was also a titanic museum on shore that my troop went to as well. i am a huge history fan, so to do all that, i was in heaven its funny that nearly 11 years later, i can still remember what that ship smelled like. another one of mine, was when i was about the same age, when my softball team won every game we played. well minus one that a storm hit and we declaired a tie. a not so childhood memory was my first time flying an airplane. i still remember the smile on my face and what it was like when the CFI told me that i was in complete control of the airplane. it was a cessna 172. (i have a pic in my profile) what sticks out in your mind? |

I was around 9 yrs old and me and my little sister helped my mom bake homemade chocolate chip cookies and later after they cooled we put a scoop of ice cream in middle of them and made ice cream sandwiches which she brought to school for my birthday party with my class the next day. I miss mom now thanks!!!

I gotta say when my parents brought me from Minnesota to Disneyworld- to a kid that is amazing... I loved Florida and all there was to do.
Macinaw Island was pretty cool too in Michigan |

Christmas was always so special . My parents put a lot of time energy and money to make it perfect for us kids . It was wonderful so much so I tried to carry it on with my kids too.
I am not talking just about presents ..although that was good too ..but mostly you could just feel the love that went into everything |

When my little brother was beginning to gum things, (before he had teeth) my dad let him gum on a fry until it was soggy he set it on the table and said "now no one eat this fry" not 15 seconds later after stacy (stepmom) brought our drinks he scooped up the fry and stuck it into his mouth, and turned this funny shade of green.
