In 1975 we had gas lines, the big thing then was alturnative fuels like ethanol and hydrieds, they got the price to $1.00 per gallon. Mass transit plans were dropped. Development of alturnative fuel wasn't subsidised, new oil fields were. We were sold out then and we will be agaqin. The proof is in politicians allowing Goodyear and GM buying most of the light rail and Electric trolley's and dismantling them.
