in iowa it's 30 days so long as you gave her notice
so long as it isn't a marital relationship |

I think that would go according to your state, divorce decree, etc. I haven't seen a law that gives a time limit especially in a divorce..

eigh.. why wouldn't you just give it back to her.. you don't want it around your apartment anywayz

My suggestion...
Just let her get her stuff and move on.... The more you drag this out the more it will hurt. |

i agree but she is wanting to take a lot of the things that we bought together.......or where given as gifts ...........and right now she is doing it again to piss me off......nothing more

There may be, but why not just give it to her? Make her take everthing, no future arguements about stuff. My ex would call me to come get my stuff, then hang on to some of it so he would have an excuse to call again. I finnally got it all & put it in storage. He was saying it was in his way, but when I arived he'd say there was no rush. It was just an excuse to see me.

Meet on neutral ground, make a list of who gets what & finish it! Bewilling to compromise.
My Ex insisted on keeping my aquariums & cast iron skillets just because he knew how much I wanted them. Well I replaced them & he now has a room with old dirty aquariums that he dosn't want, & the cast iron rusted because he didn't take care of it. My new cast iron is well seasoned now, & I have bigger & better aquariums. |
