The sun rose in my heart this morning!
I touched your tender face and all
went still, and turned to colours.
Your vibrant being touches me in a
way no one else can, no other man can.

Like the eternal moment making its
presence clear, you, my dear are known
to me and I am known to you. I breathe
you in, I breathe you out. I breathe us
in, taking in our vulnerability, our
tender humanity.

I see the world in this eternal moment;
this here and now that speaks of what
we're about, and I cry out loud with joy.
I let joy in, and it consists of nothing
but the presence of self reflection.

And so, I reflect.
