Do what you want, after 53 years....i'm sure you've figured it out by now. Besides a clean tatoo and not one all faded would be a nice change to see on an older ladie.

I have tatts, but I still say it's a personal choice.
If you are really sure, get something that you want - nothing cookie cutter (off flash) If you are not really sure, wait until you are (if ever) Good luck |

as long as you understand what you want and where you want it and that its there for keeps then go for it... there is really no turning back once getting inked in that chair... ha ha

As long as you have put thought into it and are sure you know what you want, go for it. Should you decide to get one, I wish you the best of luck that it turns out just how you wanted.

Hey, at least at your age, the liklihood of it fading or discoloring over time is more limited!!
Make it discreet, and why the heck not do it? Even Sweet Polly Purebred here has a little one... |

I got my first tattoo at 45. Have a butterfly on my lower leg. I love it and want to get one more. Not sure where I will put it, but I am planning on getting a new one. So go for it I say, it is lots of fun and it is also fun to have people comment on it.

Wait...more words of advice....if you decide to go for it...make sure you check out the artist's work, talk to people you know who have tats ..... there are some sloppy artists out there. I have been looking at work on the website ratemyink.com and it is amazing what some people put on their bodies and also amazing how awful some of it looks! So, please be aware of who is doing the work!

there is nothing wrong with getting a tattoo.... If you choose wisely then there will be no problem. I say do it but if you have one ounce of doubt then re-think it. I have nine myself and I am now having to go over some of them because of poor choices.
