just went to the eye doctor today.........I need glasses 
I'm farsighted but not by much but have astigmatism in the left so it screws with both near and far.  not fair

They're not so bad -- I've been wearing mine since I was 7 -- I'm really nearsighted AND have astigmatism -- but once you get the right prescription, you get used to it.... Can't always see the stalkers, either....

I am nearsighted and also have astigmatism - if you truly dont want to wear glasses, there are a variety of new contacts that work for us. sorry I don't think I could do contacts cause I just can't see myself touching my eye ewwww that you can overcome if you so choose I'd recommend toric lenses - they actually form to the shape of the eye quite comfortably. Just like anything else, once you get used to it, you're hooked
