Topic: what does it mean when a cat licks you?

I love when my cat sniffs my legs and arms. Sometimes she licks me but not all the time. Like on my hand or leg she will once in a while kiss me. She acts like she is gonna bite me and it is too cute then she will lick me. Is that a cat kiss?

I just left a room full of hippies (world peace, health for humanity, blah blah...), and this is what I find? Well, I'm in. I don't know what it means if a cat licks you. What the dude above me said sounds good enough.

Um, if the cat is acting like biting you, it is a bit of a dominance issue. Actually, grooming can be a dominance issue too. Strangely enough, it is the more dominant cat that will be more inclined to grooming others.
