1 John 4:7-12
"Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love. By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another." |

Beloved if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another
We ought to love one another whether there's a God or not. What does God have to do with us loving one another? That seems to be suggesting that if there is no God we'd have no reason to love one another? I don't see it. I think Atheists show the ultimate love when they love one another and expect nothing in return for it. No gift of eternal life. No threat to be punished if they misbehave. Just pure unadulterated love with no motive other than the love itself. In that sense atheism represents the purist love possible because there is no ulterior motives. Only love itself. Atheistic love, the purest love of all. Makes you want to become an atheist doesn't it. Unfortunately I don't have enough faith to become an atheist. I'm convinced that there's a spiritual element to our existence. But I still love everyone anyway. No matter how crazy their ideas are. Unless they mess with my Cat. That's were I draw the line. |

I know this love, too! It's an amazing love. I rejoice with you in this love. That he came to give us this love, I am ecstatic over it. That he made himself the propitiation for our errors is easy to shout about. If it weren't for the Holy Spirit being given to me, I would not have known how great a love was given us in Christ. It is an awesome love and I tell it on every mountain. Especially despite the ridicule. Even more so. Praise the Lord. Thank you, brother. I just got blessed for even tempering myself in this post. God bless you. |

John 4:23 (KJV) But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. |

Okay! A quote from the Bible with no comment? I guess the quote is perfect enough and doesn't require no additional comment. Hallelujah!

Okay! A quote from the Bible with no comment? I guess the quote is perfect enough and doesn't require no additional comment. Hallelujah! Give it a minute. Those who want to convince you that the blue sky is an illusion and that you are actually looking at orange dirt from another plane of existence and the sky is a deep emerald green with...... aw heck, you will see what I mean. They will be along shortly. |

Bear one another's burdens & troublesome moral faults, & in this way fulfill & observe perfectly the law of Christ & complete what is lacking in your OBEDIENCE to it.
Wow! God really spoke that to me the other day. |

True love is to accept people for who they are.
Not to demand that they believe like you. |

I think Atheists show the ultimate love when they love one another and expect nothing in return for it. Unconditional love the purest form. Makes you want to become an atheist doesn't it. Freedom from religion is a refreshing thing Upon meeting new people there is a blank slate. What they draw upon their slate will determine my response. Having no expectations is having no disappointments |

My children for whom I am again suffering birth pangs until Christ is completely & permanently formed within you. Tell me, you who are bent on being under the law, will you listen to what the law REALLY says? These words are straight from the Bible...God's word. Without God's blessing the answer is NO! the carnal mind can't understand the things of God. Some people here prove that by their posts. These scriptures are a reminder that while there is life there is hope... for those unbelieving. |
