I swear the little buggers are just messing with me now. I have put some of those evil looking traps down, in their regular path, apparently they are taking an alternate route now.grumble

I know they make poisonous peanuts but I am afraid that one of the cats or squirrels would get them.

Any suggestions?

I have heard that sound waves help get rid of them. anything that could harm another animal wont work. a freind of mine is having the same proublem. she called in a professional to help.

I've got two cats that take care of them. Not a mole or a mouse to be seen.

You can spray Castor Oil around the plants you care about, personally I like the hose from the tailpipe of your car into the hole method. I have a special Datsun 280 Z that needs a valve job, that I saved just for this.

Ck a commercial pest ridding supply store.
In Omaha, there is a place sells poisonous smoke sticks, or little pellets you put in their runs.
Another old remedy, Juicy Fruit gum. Half stick, thru slit in their runs. They can't digest, plugs them up. Seems to work, jst takes alot of gum.

pure peppermint oil works wonders

I had that problem last year and I soaked some cotton balls with the oil *very important* wear gloves when using peppermint oil and place the cotton balls in the holes or anywhere you think they like to go.

this works great for any kind of rodent place soaked cotton balls in corners of any room they hate it and leave

put them where children cannot reach

Good Luck!
