Topic: 2007 NFL Draft...... | |

Ken Hamlin might end up bein a free agent, and he'd be a welcome
addition to either of our teams. If the 49ers decide to go with a DL, I hope they get that Amobi Okoye guy. I agree for both of our teams needin MLBs, badly for us. We also need more help on the right side of the O line, and hungrier WRs. I think this draft is definitely gonna be interestin though. |

I believe that Seattle is trying to trade Jackson so that they will
have the cap room to re-sign Hamlin who, yes, would be a welcome addition to both of our teams (though only for the right price). |

I can't ever respect the Seahawks as long as Holmgren is still there.
The way he did Jerry Rice was DIRTY! I'd trade all the receivers except Branch. He's the only one that's shown he can actually catch the ball on a regular basis his whole career. I think lettin Kevin Curtis go was a bad decision on the Ram's office part. He'll be a valuable addition to ANY team who gets him, but don't be surprised if the Patriots try hard to get him. I just hope the Seahawks don't get him though, cuz that'll hurt bein he'd still be in our division but against us. Dude I was pissed when I watched the game 49ers vs. Saints this year. Vernon Davis couln't block my dad, and he has rheumetiod arthritis in every joint in his body! And Jeff Ulbrich just plain freakin sucks on defense. EVERY time he was on D, the Saints made a big play or TD right up the middle. I was thoroughly dissapointed in both their performances, and I only got to watch 2 or 3 games this year, as they don't show many 9er games out here in Arkansas. The one game we watched that was worth a sh*t was the last quarter of the 49ers at Broncos in the season finale. That showed heart, somethin we haven't shown much since Dennis Erickson's punk-ass was here. I'm proud of our coach we got now, Nolan. He's gonna make us a contender again soon. All we need now is to keep our freakin Offensive coordinator for more than one season to get consistancy outta the players. Nolan shouldv'e never given Turner permission to seek Head Coach after the Dallas thing fell through. Now it just looks like every coordinator we get is just tryin to be Head Coach somewhere else. |

Curtis was let go because it would have been too expensive to keep him
on in what is a 3rd WR role in an offense that has gone to more of a 2 WR and 2 TE set last year and going forward. He will be a FA that teams will be looking at with his route running and his FIQ (I belive he scored a 48? on the Wunderlic), with good hands he'll be a target. However, he's best suited to a slot role and does not have the tools to be a number 1 guy (and he'll get #1 money somewhere). In any case the Rams will be looking to upgrade at KR/WR in the draft maybe the 3rd or 4th round after the defense has been addressed. |
