Well, that's what should be the name of Border Security USA, a new "reality" show set to debut on ABC next season. It's "billed as the first multiepisode television series to be shot in cooperation with the Department of Homeland Security, as well as several other government agencies," including "the Transportation Security Administration, U.S. Coast Guard, United States Citizenship & Immigration Services, the Secret Service, Customs & Border Protection and Immigration & Customs Enforcement."

The executive producer, Arnold Shapiro, admits that the whole point of the show is to put a good face on the DHS: "This show . . . makes you feel good about these people who are doing their best to protect us."

Fittingly, Shapiro is also the producer of Big Brother.

I'm willing to bet a dollar that we don't see a single one of the Mexican military incursions, where it has been reported that they are escorting both the Drug cartels and the Human traffickers over the border, going as far as trying to kill border guards and raising hell in US border towns.

Oh we won't, don't want to upset the powerful might of the Mexican government...lol.
