in an abusive relationship... I can't stress enough the importance of getting out. I was reading thru some of these threads and what you all went thru for "love"
Relationships are supposed to be work, we all know that. But they are not supposed to be abusive.
I have buried 2 friends of mine that were killed at the hands of their abusive s/o
So please, if you are in one, or you know someone that is in one... do whatever you can do to help that person get out of it. There are a million reasons people convince themselves to stay but the best reason to leave is to save your life.

i'm so grateful i was never in a relationship like that..pray to god i never will..i will not put up with that crap and i wont stay..no way

i feel for everyone that goes thru it..i've seen some nasty relationships, helped people..its sad

I would never condone hitting a woman, I simply wasn't brought up that way. It burns me up to think of so called "men" who do this. More than likely it's to make up for the things they lack and to try and exhibit some sort of control in their miserable lives.

It takes a REAL man to maintain his composure and simply walk away. A wuss will simply lash out, which shows immaturity and lack of self control.

my ex-wife was mentally abusive, she had me thinking I was no good and that I would never amount to anything, but I showed her haha!

that is so very sad to hear any gender lose their life because of domestic violence.............we weren't put here to be that way to one another...............men and women alike who have survived the ordeal, and, i am one that did.............cheers to ya...............

I was told I was abusive. I don't see how, don't get me wrong if you call me a b*tch you will be called a bast@rd. But he would say I was mentally abusive, he called be names, but the only things i said were bast@rd and jack@$$
