My Dad and I were talking about this the other day... It amazes me now how many have turned against it, when I would be willing to bet that when he announced the war/attack shortly after 9/11 most of you cheered it on and were supportive...Knowing damn well that inside you were saying..."Go kick their ass!" sounds liiiiike.... recess?

seperation of church and state buddy. look it up. there should not be anything mentioned at all in a government building. It means that the state cannot have a state religion nor base legislation off of a church or religious doctrine. That is it. Historic precident carries such prayers and you should have been present in Washington in early 20th and prior US History. You'd go mad with all the Christian undertones around that place.

yeah and that's why we are attacking iran next right? because they are terrorists too. The unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments, often for ideological or political reasons wow that sounds like how they get us to back all our attacks against other countries with oil

Nope all smoke and mirrors. The only reason they can catch any of alqeada in there now is because we are there, so closer targets but no there was not any connection it has been proven over and over. Beside that even a connection to al qaeda is not enough to deseat the ruler of a sovereign country, bomb the hell out of them, hunt him like a dog, etc.... SADDAM DID NOT DO 9/11!!!!!

yeah and that's why we are attacking iran next right? because they are terrorists too. lol, that is not the best argument to make, considering Iran is the sole funder of the largest proxy army with a radical Islamic doctrine. They are called Hezbollah, a proxy army of Iran trying to overthrow the democratic government of Lebanon and have an African operation base in Sudan.

what Iran is doing has nothing to do with us. It is not our job to police the world that is a popular misconception. this is nothing better than vietnam, which destroyed the lives of an entire generation. My parents included. and since then how many fight have we picked. we went from honerable defenders to a corrupt defunct system of bullies, squabling over power!

Okay so I do not see an overwhelming christian under tone in the history of our country and you do. I said to each their own. I did not belittle. I said my opinion you can take it or leave it. You usually choose to leave it and I am okay with that. I do not see the concreteness of your arguments but okay to each their own on that one too. I have a lot of class, you just miss it because we are always at odds. I don't dislike you and I really am not trying to make you feel bad. I have a strong opinion about these subjects and that is all. I will sincerely apologize for making you feel bad, it was not my intention, honest.
