I'm not looking for a yonger man. Age is like fine wine - it gets better with time in my opinion. Some of us get grumpy but that's ok. I went to dinner last night with my daughter and at the table across from us was a young couple who had daughters around the age of 8 and 11 and do you know those girls both had cell phones, blackberries! It really amazes me to think that a lot of young couples live in these big expensive homes and can afford all the luxuries. I hear that....I do good to make my car/insurance payment, monthly cell bill and rent....let alone any luxuries

not me. i want to make it on my own. Hey isn't that the lyrics to a song? anyway, i tried to teach that to my kids to. they have a pretty good work ethic.

I hear ya. When you think about what their house payment must be: When you think what their utilities must be: When you think about what car(s) payment must be: When you think what their home upkeep must be, Not to mention what their groceries must be. Then think about their salaries are NOT what they used to be, even with both working. I see people in way over their heads, someplace they dont want to be. Only so they and their kids dont want to be: judged inferior. JMHO

I am thankful I get room and board to take care of my parents, plus spending money.

Don't you think that these kids who want for nothing have no idea what the real world is like?

Being happy with yourself. If you should find someone to share a pillow with - WoW so much the better You got that right Rob the other day I realized that I was waiting for life to begin I think somewhere in the back of my mind I had the impression that I couldn't be happy unless I had that someone to snuggle up to and hold hands with.Would be nice but I don't want to grow sprouts just waiting.So tomorrow I'm off to conquer the world

I am lucky to have a daughter that will pay for my cell phone so that I will not have that bill. My brother bought me a cd player for Christmas and my kid sister bought me a dvd player.
