deffinatly get more horses from carbs rather then fuel injection
right now im driving a 78 ford ltd2 its a big ol boat but i love it
luckily when i got it it only had 54 grand on the odometer and it mustve
been garage kept cause it has only a lil surface rust for me to sand
down and prime it has a 5.0L 302 i was thinnking of parkin it to work on
it but i have to find another daily driver first

i like carburation better myself but i think you get better response
from the right fuel injectors

i thought response really came down to gear ratio

gears do help as far as low end acceleration but a fuel injection system
in my opinion is better for throttle response unless you have a high
horsepower car

yeah i thats true well it is nowadays with the computer controlling
everything ..i learned on old school muscle cars my bro had 72 chevele
with a 350 we got pushing over 400 hp and that car was such a blast im a
lil more partial 20 the older cars you dont need a scan tool to diagnose
any problems and man those things are costly

i know i have a 99 tahoe and i recently set a cose from the trans, it's
fine but i need to reset it.

i was thinking about some engine options for an 87 monte carlo and i've
seen them get 600HP out of a 350 w/o nitrous...lol that's some crazy
shit

yeah that 350 is a versitile engine i dig the small block sleepers like
that not to mention over they 30 yrs they have so many bolt on parts its
relativaly inexpensive the ltd is my first ford car that is and im
having alot of fun with it .it has so much room under the hood i could
probobly crawl inside the hood with the hood down

they're pretty big but to only have 50 some thousand on the odometer is
pretty good..you can get alot of parts for the s.o also though

yeah i was thinking since gas prices are going down a lil i might go
ahead and get the four barrel carb and mechanical fuel intake and i was
thinking of gettin an msd box or something along those lines

k&n makes a new filter that has draws from all three sides now, it's
pretty nice..that would work good with the 4 barrel, msd and intake

My neighbor has a 1942 Desoto sitting in his front yard for sale. I
have never seen a Desoto before. It looks like a huge
old fashioned PT Cruiser.

if gas was no object I'd love to have either of my '71's back...had a
'71 Mustang Mach 1 351 4 bbl that some asshole turned into a banana and
a '71 Chevelle SS that I sold for 22 grand 3-4 yrs ago when gas went
over $3/gallon, couldn't afford to drive it at 6-8mpg...but my ultimate
dream car is the '69 Boss

i like the 64-67 gto's the best and any car from any maker in the 69
model year seems to be a winner for some reason.
