question for you all----do you all think it would be ok for me to kinda let my son stay home with me tomorrow from school, and kinda have a son and mom day..since its friday and tues is his last day of school..he's in kindergaten..and i dunno i just wanna spend some quality time with him..nascar is here this weekend and he wants to see the cars and stuff..thinking about taking him tomorrow up for the qualifying and truck race...still the experience for him, but not a million people...whatta ya think? what is the rules from his school? will his teacher mail you a letter for him not being there? to me i don't think it is wrong for keeping home i talked with her..she said it would be an unexcused absence but he hasnt missed a single day all year...and they can miss 10 before a conference...she said she couldnt offer me any advice, but if he was her son he wouldnt be at school tomorrow and gave me a wink she also said it was just gonna be coloring and movie day they arent doing anything till tues when they have kindergaten graduation |

Kinda depends on how his school does things but in general I'd say go for it. Odds are being the last day and all he'll get more out of a day with you than he will at school. |

Noel....and mind you I'm a teacher  Make sure if he really wants that perfect attnd. certif. that pulling him after 1/2 day won't screw that up. I know in my sch. if they leave early it's not consider a full day of being there. If I were you I'd ask him..... and go for it....I would!!!! Have fun!!!!

Ah well I need to get some work done. Yeh....get off your butt and go get something done!!!! hahaha I'm out early today cuzzzzz I had a tooth pulled this a.m. and tried to make it through the rest of the sch. day....but my assistants said "get the hell home!!!!" O.K......no problem!!!! SO just ck. on who's here and I'm then going to go lay down after I take my pain killer!!!!
