i know one psychic who mostly delves into the supernatural.i believe we all have the ability but if we don't develop it we lose it.

What do you consider to be the supernatural?

spirits and she goes to haunted houses and does
EVA.She also has the visions thing but she is mainly interested in communicating with spirits.

?? do strong senders know they are strong senders???

Very intuitive, but can only read the minds of a few people...but they have to be 'strong senders'huh

I have had a couple of situations where I believe I was intuitive, I don't think psychic though.

If they learn to control themselves. My psychic friend, is just learning. At first she would just blurt things out. Like mention that cancer problem. oops. But I don't think she ever saw a death, although she can talk to dead people.

She channeled my X-husband. I wrote about it on the Colorado thread if you want to read about it. It was quite an experience.

While I HAVE been known to prognosticate things with accuracy from time to time, I personally think it has more to do with my ability to read people and events more accurately than any psychic powers. Think of it as a rapid-fire equivalent of Sherlock Holmes' deductive logic- I can look at something and deduce what will happen, and (in most cases) get some decent accuracy.

Here's a VERY VERY basic example- a kid is walking down a sidewalk which his face stuck in front of his Gameboy. In front of him is a portion of sidewalk that is cracked and raised up from tree roots pushing it up.

Chances are that if the kid DOESN'T start raising his head before he gets to that screwed-up section of sidewalk, he'll trip and fall flat on his face. If he DOES look up just in time, he won't.

I can just put two-and-two together in a relatively short amount of time and come up with an somewhat accurate result. No psychics involved.

That is interesting because that is a little bit how the Tarot cards work. They seem to reflect the energy of the moment and the pictures give clues to what is going on in the moment or situation.

Any perceived future event that shows up in the reading is providing the present moment is not altered and nothing is changed.

Since (in theory) time does not actually "exist," the present moment actually covers the events themselves, and not a span of time.

So the outcome can be predicted somewhat accurately if nothing changes.
