hey everyone i am not a good cook but now i am craving fried green tomatoes thanks to SOMEONE!!!
can someone explain how to make them??? ill share if you do~! |

Slices your tomatoes and you want a batter made out of corn mill and flower salt, pepper. Dip the tomato in the batter and then fry at low heat in something like olive oil and there you go

Dip the tomato in the batter and then fry at low heat in something like olive oil and there you go sometimes when i first take them out of the oil i will sprinkle them with parm cheese...gives kind of a nutty flavor...real good! |

hey everyone i am not a good cook but now i am craving fried green tomatoes thanks to SOMEONE!!! can someone explain how to make them??? ill share if you do~! <--------------------------- Wash and slice green tomatoes (not too thick)....soak them in a bowl of buttermilk...place some flour (or flour and meal), salt and white pepper in gallon size baggy....shake excess milk off each tomato as you toss in bag and shake to coat....put about an inch of veg. oil in cast iron skillet...when hot place tomatoes in gently...salt tops...turn when brown on one side...brown other side remove ..plcae on paper towels...salt again...ENJOY! |
