Scripture says that the ten commandments were on a tablet of stone written with the finger of God. And GIVEN to Moses. He SPOKE to Moses out of the cloud!

Ah, yes, that maybe, but since he went to Mt.Sinai all by himself, it could possibly have been written by himself. Might.

Nope because scripture say's God talked to him, God is soverign over ALL His creation and His word. He would allow no lie in it. If God's word that He calls true is a lie then God is a liar. And God is holy and perfect He cannot lie.

Ah, yes, that maybe, but since he went to Mt.Sinai all by himself, it could possibly have been written by himself. Might. Moses climbed Mt Sinai by himself, but all of the Israelites experianced God daily before they got to Mt Sinai and they all heard God's voice. They choose Moses to be their representative and sent him up the mountain by himself because they feared God. |

and gave the 10 commandments? If there is any truth to that story, the people who think they heard God talking, to include Moses, may have heard something, but I doubt if it was God. It could have been an advanced race of alien beings who were helping to colonize and direct the races on the earth. These beings passed themselves off as "gods" and I am quite sure it was not hard to do with a little advanced technology. According to the Uranitia book the primative races were introduced to religion as soon as possible. The first set of commandments numbered only seven. I think there is some truth to the idea that advanced beings colonized and directed the evolution of humans on the earth and they may well have been considered "Gods." JB |

if moses was talking to a burning bush..doesn't a burning bush seem more like Satan's style ..so exactly how did Moses know it was God ..did god show moses three forms of identification? ...birth certificate..driver's license and social security card That is what I always ask people. How on earth do these people know (or think) they are talking to "God?" Anyone with any kind of technology or any spiritual being or fallen angel or demon could probably easily have convinced these primitive people that they are God. That is why I don't believe accounts in the Bible that so-an-so talked to God or heard God or that "God" said this or that. I don't think so. Nope. noway. ![]() ![]() |
