I served my time as a 82nd airborne paratrooper. 4 years of it. For the most part it was all peace time unless you count Granada and that was just a pic nic. My son has served in Iraq and Afghanistan 18 months each. My father is retired Vientnam vet and I have 4 step brothers who have all served in the military to include Airforce,Navy,Marines,Cost Guard and me in the Army. The only wish from my father to each of us was Come home safe. Airborne!!! 
Just a ground pounder! <---------- I wanted to go airborne, but They said they didnt throw there best out of aircraft!!!

Four years Navy, four years Air Force. All three of my children served in Iraq and while I am proud of their service I believe we have no business in Iraq.Iraq should be able to stand on its own by now. Our kids need to come home.
