No, they aren't. Atheist means "godless", since Christians believe in God, they are not "godless". Only someone who denies the existance of any god is an atheist.

Well, first off, I think your idea of "chosen people" is probably wrong. But ignoring that, anyone who says "You have to belong to X religion to go to heaven" is wrong.

Actually, the Jews are the chosen people of God. But because of His unfailing love, grace and mercy, even us gentiles can be grafted into the tree and become attached to the vine.

Romans 11:17-18
But some of these branches from Abraham’s tree—some of the people of Israel—have been broken off. And you Gentiles, who were branches from a wild olive tree, have been grafted in. And.....when we are attached to the vine, and become circumsized in the heart, or born-again, given a brand new spirit, then we in fact become Jews, the chosen people of God.

It's all about the bloodlines. There is a certain gene that is only carried by women. This is why you are not considered Jewish (by blood) unless you have a "Jewish" mother. But most who call themselves "Jews" are not semitic Jews.

The religion is actually secondary and the Zionist Jews of today's Israel are not semitic Jews and some claim that they are not true descendants of Abraham. Many of them are atheist. They are descendants of a waring race who converted to Judaism years ago and claimed to be Jews for political reasons. This race seeks the destruction of real semitic Jews, who are a darker skinned race. There are those who claim to be Jews but are not. (The Bible calls them the "synagogue of Satan." )

The above is just an opinion or theory held by some people. But I do know that bloodlines and genes play a major roll in the Jewish picture for some reason. It is a mystery I wish someone would investigate.

Because not all Isreal is Isreal. I believe Jew's will be in heaven but it will be those who, before Christ, with a pure heart, looked foward to the redemption in Christ. And After his death and resurection look at Him for their redemption. Jesus is the only way!

wheather a guy is jewish gentile or an alien you can rest assure that they will not agree that circumcision of the heart is anything like circumcision of the family jewells ...also circumcision does not magically turn a gentile into an Israelite or one of the chosen ones ..that's probably why Jesus was more than likely Jewish
