Topic: Let's just be friends | |

Do you find it hard to say this after the date with someone?
Do you bother or just never talk to them unless they talk to you? |

It can be hard to say but if that's how you feel it's only fair to be honest...
If I want them for a friend of course... If not then no I probably wouldn't... (((DD))) |

no, i do not find it hard to say . Being nice to anyone is the best.

it depends on what kind of person she was on the date.

Depends if I even like them enough to be friends, I don't take my friends lightly either. If I like them enough to be friends, I like them enough to see where it may go.
So I don't usually say "let's be friends" |

I would never use that phrase since it has become almost a negative idea..."let's just be friends"...but certainly the same point is made, in other words.
At times, that's the most you can feel with someone and being a friend is a great thing! |

I feel you should always be honest! No matter what! If you just want to be friends, you should tell them that!!

I just had to say the words to someone who I had been speaking with for several months off and on. Saturday we finally met. We clicked as friends but not romantically. She was totally cool with it as I knew she would be. It felt funny though to write to her and tell her but not doing so felt wrong. We agreed to keep in touch as friends.

Be 100% honest all the time...tell it like it is. Not fair to let someone assume it may lead further...
They are adults (well, maybe )..They should be able to handle it |

Yeah its very hard to say! Especially if you really like them!

whats a date? Um, I believe it's the edible fruit of a palm, if memory serves me correctly. That's the only kind I've known recently! |

I think its the most dreaded thing to hear or to have to say after a date. We all know what it really means...
