I work in a home for mentally and physically challenged
adults and I just want people to realize that they have
feelings and deserve to be treated decently.

Awesome ((((Vicki )))). I work with physically and mentally disable children (K-8) at my local school district. It's amazing how some people think just because they are 'different' they don't have feelings or can hear what is said about them. I assist a 7th grade boy in walking...he suffers from seizures so he wears a helmet to protect his head during falls. The 'normal' kids are always asking me, "Why does he wear a helmet?"...I always answer with, "Because he's cool! Where's yours?" Then follow-up with a short explination that it is to protect his head.

Oh the stories I could share during my 9 yrs. in working with these beautiful children!

That was real good Vicki...I've seen the stories in there when I did pet therapy for a nursing home. It is sad.

Oh yes!! When God opens those books and reads what some people have said and done to HIS children...Well I really don't have to say any more!!!
