I have noticed that about 85% of the people I talk to trash their ex to me within the first thirty minutes of chatting. I see this as a HUGE red flag...

I'm close to my ex so I wouldn't know. I can say it would at times be easier to hate then to try to put all the emotions in order. |

I don't like to talk about my ex, period. If asked point blank, I prefer to keep it short and not go into details.
What possible good can it serve to dredge up memories best left forgotten? |

i can honostly say i have joked about x's in many threads but im not bitter, i move on pretty easy.!!! maybe thats why my x's might trash me.!!!

Good point.... but I'm not here to give sympathy to them...you know? may be there is something in your personality that tells them you are a good bandage for their wounds Get rid of the Band Aid logo from your forehead

I agree they arent over their ex and subconsciously it comes out. I too look at it as a big red flag.......Get over it!!! Life is too short to waste precious time on hurt and anger.....and it will kill you in the end!
I also think that if they talk about someone they used to love like that...what are they going to say about me? 
btw.......all ex's are biotches etc.....so save me the story!
