A forest of life

As I read some words tonight,
I was amazed and what a sight.
One who sees it much like me,
Spoke of something, I could not see.

I did read it several times,
It took me back, a bit sublime.
This friend of mine is dear and true,
A heart of gold, his blood of blue.

He does walk the forest of life,
Speaking truth, but not of strife.
Softly spoken, a mortal man,
Sharing love with all he can.

From time to time, from in the past,
He shares a secret, this too shall last.
This secret strong his story tells,
Of a heaven, not of a hell.

He will speak the truth so bold,
See him write, his words of gold.
He speaks to those he calls friend,
His words echo, love to mend.

Some have said he knows no bounds,
He feeds upon the hunting grounds.
His body clean, soft and warm,
A coat he wears, weathers the storm.

The storm of life, we do know now,
Friendships grow if we know how.
To seek a soul from in the light,
Peering from the dark of night.

Nights will pass into the day,
I see him ask in his own way.
As I write these words today,
I think of friendships far away.

Friendships made upon this net,
May last forever, of this I bet.
For those of you, who think you see,
Walk this forest of life to be.

A friend of mine in which you’ll find,
Friendship shared with those in kind.
Kind of friends and little Birds,
Share them now my humble words.

OMG!I am speechless literally.I am deeply humbled and honored to have
such a fine poem written of me.This is truly an exhilarating experience
and a moment that shall remain embedded within me for all my days upon
this Earth.To come from such a fine gentleman and a truly gifted Poet
there is no higher honor than that.I initially meet Gryphyn through his
finely crafted Poetry which still remains in effect as we speak.His
words are so finely crafted that the reader is captured and transcends
directly into the story unfolding.I lied in hope that one day I would be
become friends with him,and joyously that day has come to pass for I am
