well to start off most folk think the old timers got all the gold. that is just not so i've been prospecting for 7 years and i very rarely come home with out some gold mostly small gold but it does add up occassionally i find an arrowhead or some kind of gem (garnets,crystal points,etc).i explore old gold mines in the uwharrie mountains in montgomery county nc. i also find gold in most counties surrounding charlotte nc and even in the city of charlotte nc want to know more feel free to ask have a great day and may the bottom of your gold pan turn gold rod
