freedom of speech... it's a great thing... and just because you don't like what's said doesn't mean it shouldn't be said. People have died fighting to give us the right to speak, to believe whatever we want to speak of or believe in... in fact, my Husband currently serves in the Navy to protect those rights... so what right have you to take it away? Why does your opinion rank over some one else's??? Because what you fail to forget is that forum boards are not republics, or a democracy. These forums are an "OLIGARCHY" of sorts in that you post at the whim of those who hold the power of the edit,delete,bannination key. There are no constitutional rights afforded you on these forums. You say people cannot debate with a valid point, but you ourself have not fired one accurate salvo through that train wreck you called your "right". If you indeed knew this to be a powder keg ready to go off by your own admission, why would you have even started the trainwreck? Why are you the only person who seems to have a problem with what I said? Seems to me the only powder keg going off is yours. Other people saw what I was getting at... and they were fine. You wanna fuel the fire... because you don't like what I had to say. Lucky for me... it isn't your board to moderate... I didn't start a train wreck... if you could comprehend what you read you would have seen that I meant no ill toward the poster of the topic. My comments were merely generalizations based on my own personal experiences.... YOU ON THE OTHERHAND ATTACK ME PERSONALLY... something that as a moderator of anykind would know is NOT appropriate to do per the Site Rules.

There again I suggest you go back and re-read what you wrote, although it will not make a bit of difference in your mind. you baited, and no, on my forums you would have had your first post deleted, and had you posted what you did the second time you would have gotten a warning and/or a 3 day timeout. Yes I have a huge problem with your baiting, muckraking, and misunderstanding of the whole subject. Now I am going to bed, feel free to get the last word in.

I dont want to leave my friends here either, but I think it is fast coming to that. the break from the site was nice, but I missed talking to a lot of the people. I think that might come to an end shortly, and it saddens me. JSH is a great time killer, friend making place

I think that might come to an end shortly, and it saddens me. You just debunked your own statement. My aren't we opinionated, Rob. All I asked was if it shouldn't be in the RELIGIOUS section. Heck... if this was a post about say, um, Potty Training, I'd expect it to be in the PARENTING section. It's about respecting each other. I find it funny how some who are religious get all offended when we NON-BELIEVERS speak our mind... but the minute the tables are turned, we're supposed to turn away and not say anything. Why is this not a 2-way street? Are not non-believers entitled to their opinions, too? I don't go blasting into the religion section and tell those people what I think of organized religion... so why is it ok for religion to be brought into the general discussion area??? yup, one thing I certainly am is opinionated, as you are too apparently. You not only posted one ignorant comment that was contrary to the theme of the thread, when you didn't get the response you wanted you gave it a second shot. Neither one of them were called for, nor did you have any pure intention with either of them. You are not a moderator so I do not believe that your opinion on where this thread is parked has a bearing. The thread was not religious, it was simply to wish others well. If you have so much hate in your heart that you cannot bypass something of good intention, without your negative comment perhaps you should let jesus into your heart. It never ceases to amaze me how a group of people can ask not to be singled out for their beliefs, then go out of their way to draw attention to themselves so they can start pointng fingers at others. grow up and get a grip on reality

Ok, I won't insult you and your beliefs... just don't insult mine. Some of us don't believe in the Bible and all that religion stuff. I'll chalk it up as well-wishing and be on my merry little way. so why stop by long enough to leave the snotty little post? All I will say is I believe in God but I fought for this country to give EVERYONE the right to believe in what they want and the right to EXPRESS that opinion!!!

I am curious. How many atoms or how many molacules have you ever seen ? Scientist say they excist, but I have never seen one, have you ? Should we disregard theier findings because we have not taken the time or means to discover them for ourselves ? I am amazed at how much we except ( scientific knowledge ) without any real knowlege of ourselves. We except so much in faith ( believing in something we can not see, but know it is true ) in rergards to science , but have no faith in things of the Spirit. The principle is the same. The scriptures teach that you can expirement with Gods word & put it to the test ( just like a scientific expirement ) & see the results. I would encourage you to try it for your self & see if there is something their that is real, even though you may not see it, just like the Atoms & molocules that make up everything that exists. We may mot see them, but they are there. So , you may not see Christ & His father, but they are thier & they are real beings with bodys just like ours, only theirs are ressurected & immortal bodys. They live & you can discover them for your self, if you are willing to expirement with their words, just like planting a seed , something will grow if you care for it. sincerly John S Hofman JSH

Well after reading this whole thread I have decided the best thing is to lock it up. Please read the forum rules. http://www.justsayhi.com/topic/show/13132 At no time are memebers allowed to attack another member regardless what the reasons are. You know whether you believe in God or not neither has the right to attack the other. We all have and opinion and the right to that opinion!! As far where the thread belongs it could actually either go in general, chit chat or religion but... most likely would not go to chit chat as it has. With that said, please refrain yourselfs from attacking others it will not be tolerated on the forums. Thanks Site Mod Kristi
