There came a day
my Queen sent for me
when I recieved her call
I came with all Godspeed

Standing in her presence
I then kneeled on one knee
I asked my Queen
how may I serve thee

She said rise Sir Daniel
oh how I love thee
you are my last Knight
and you mean everything to me

I have something to ask of you
this is not an order, but a request
I ask you to go
on a dangerous quest

I said, my Queen
there is no danger to great
just speak the word
and I will make hast

She said, oh Daniel
I hate to ask this of you
because all the other Knight are gone
I don't want to lose you too

I said, My Queen
here I stand
you know that whatever you wish
will be my command

With love, honor and bravery
I serve you my Queen
you know that I am here to fulfill
your every need

With her head hung low
and tears in her eyes
from her throne slowly
she began to rise

She walked over to me
and softly touched my lips
teacing them so gently
with her finger tips

She then softly spoke
with a quivering voice
I didn't want to ask you this Daniel
but I have no other choice

There is a talisman
a golden flower
it's said to possess
magical powers

With this flower
I could heal this land
and a never ending peace
would always stand

The Quest Part Two

For a few moments
silence filled the air
upon my Queens face
was a blank stare

I then asked, Tell me my Queen
where is this flower
the one you say possesses
this magical power

And why my Queen
do you fear
that I may never
return to you here

She said, Oh my dear Daniel
this story I will tell you
because I know that in your heart
to me you are true

You brothers in arms
all of the other Knights
they all took this journey
and each of them died

That's why it grieves my heart
to ask you this
because if anything happened to you
you would be sorely missed

The story goes
as it was told to me
this magical flower was created
from the beginning of eternity

It's a puzzle
shrouded in mystery
very few have ever lived long enough
to tell of it's history

Once you get past our enemies
and make it to this place
there is a door you will see
that has a lions face

Touch the nose of the lion
and turn it to the right
wait a few moments
and you will be inside

Once you get inside
you will come to a rift
a place where space and time
doesn't exist

There will be a great creature
that guards this flower
one that has lived through the ages
one of immense power

You must head north Daniel
you will travel through enemy land
that's why this is so dangerous Daniel
I hope you understand

But the needs of the many
out weigh the needs of the few
and now I fear
I must ask this of you

Remember this
only a heart that's pure
can grasp it in their hand
for if there is any evil in you
you will die where you stand

But I know you daniel
your heart is full of love
you are one of Gods gifts
sent from heaven above

You are not physically my strongest Knight
but you are cunning and wise
I believe that out of all the other Knights
you have the best chance to survive

The Quest Part Three

Slowly pacing the floor
in her spirit I could see
the love and compassion
My Queen had for me

I said, My Queen
you are in my heart you see
and there is nothing to great
you could ever ask of me

I will depart on the morrow
I will ride like the wind
I will bring you this flower
so this land you can mend

Hold your head up
Don't cry my Queen
as sure as my name is Daniel
I will return to thee

After a long night
and some much needed rest
I left the Stronghold
and set out on my quest

A few days had passed
since I began this journey
off in the distance
there were Knights approaching me

I then stopped
and dismounted my horse
I reached to my side
and unsheathed my sword

I called out to them
are you friend or foe
I will do what I have to
to get to where I must go

Slowly they approached
they dismounted their horses
they reached to their side
and unsheathed their swords

One of them spoke
he said, I recognize your crest
I know of the Queen you serve
that's in the southwest

You must renounce your allegiance
and come to our side
if you do not do this
on this day you will die

I then said, There is nothing you can say
or anything you can do
because for my Queen my heart
will always be true

He then said, Prepair yourself
your Queens last Knight
because today
you are going to die

The enemy Knights
they numbered ten
I raised my sword and said
let the battle begin

The enemy Knights
they began to surround
I knew in the next few moments
they would try to cut me down

Two Knights came in
and began their attack
I wounded them mortally
and pushed them back

For the first few moments
alone I did fight
then an unknown warrior
came to my side

With lightening speed
and expert skill
three of the other Knights
this man did kill

He then looked at me
he said, I know you are surprised
I know who you are Daniel
My name is Wolfeyes

We then stood back to back
with our swords held high
but the other Knights didn't attack
for they had fear in their eyes

Slowly they backed away
and their horses they began to mount
they said this isn't over Knight
as they turned around

Then I turned around
I asked how do you know me
we have never met
this is a certianty

He said, I know who you are
and I know your Queen
my people are your allies
from the east

Your Queen sent a message
to my King
he sent me to help you
on your journey
