Hello everyone...new on here...I used 2 write alot of poetry when I was younger..lets see if I still have it........
Living on the memories of my fantasies, I realize this is not my destiny. Let me go,set me free, Away from all this insanity. To break away from this chain, Before I forever live my life in vein. I do not want to be the cause of your pain, Yet I can no longer live my life feeling insane. Say goodbye to me forever, To both be happy to endeavour. Leaving all this so I can be me, To one day find true happiness you will see. We grew apart, We knew that from the start. I'm spreading my wings of a life I once knew, Of love for myself my feelings be true. I will not look back as I close the door, Because it's only the memories that once made my heart soar. |
