Topic: THE GREEN DRAGON'S INN - part 3 | |
---|---|
*it is clear that Alatariel does not like this news* The damn fool. I should of never left last night. Truer words may not have been spoken. A damn fool he is. I thought I had taught him better of the perils of some magic items. However he let his curiousity get the better of him. I can't say I blame him too much however. When I first started my adventuring days I ran into my fair share of magical items and some of them almost killed me out of inexperience as well. If he makes it out of this alive he will have learned a valuable lesson that will only help to better him. If he doesn't, well then he also won't have to worry about making this same mistake again. *turns her back to Rathil to wipe her tears that have started to flow down her face.* I will pray that he makes it to be a thorn in your side for the rest of your days then. *Laughs a bit* I assure you, even if he makes it through this peril. I will live for centuries to come. Him living to see my death seems unlikely. *Rathil looks around and doesn't see the hobbit anymore* I will leave you two alone then, Rathil says *There is not another sound made. When Alatariel turns back to where Rathil was there is no longer anyone standing there. It seems to be just her standing next to an unconscious Jericho.* |

*Alatariel drifts off to sleep*
*Jericho stirs a little bit and manages to open his eyes. He sees Alataiel sitting before him with her head in his lap. He also notices that she is touching him without any pain towards her. He pulls his head up so he is sitting back and attempts to wake up Alatariel.*

Alatariel wakens with a start lifts her head and smiles weakly at Jericho
*He smiles back at her and coughs a little bit before saying weekly*
Thank you *He holds her hand that was still on his lap* |

Looks at their hands It was the least I could do

Calliope sees Rathil leave before she has a chance to bid him welcome or farewell.
She slowly moves toward Jericho and Alatariel, "Would you care for a bit of soup and bread?" Boromir prepared the tortoise soup and the aroma was now very strong in the air. She looks around thinking now where did my chair go...I hope it was not broken up during the thrashing yesterday...she waits with a worried look on her face. |

You drink too much already" She nods and goes to the bar and grabs a mug, shrugging her shoulders abit and pours up the brew. Hands the brew to Jericho and says, "You need to consider your strength and you are not helping yourself by depriving your body or nourishment...I insist you have soup...even if I have to stand on your damn lap, sir and pour it down your throat..you dont scare me, ya know..." she runs quickly to he kitchen, hoping he doesnt strike her. |

Walking down the stairs and hearing Caliope fuss at Jericho, makes RéAnna laugh. she wears a cloak today. she sits at the bar.

*Jericho nods as he is thinking. He looks down at the ring on his finger that is slowly allowing his body to kill him. He looks down at Alatariel and gives her a week smile before standing up. He seems to have a sudden burst of energy as he moves up to the bar and grabs two towels and a bottle of liquor. He moves back to his table and picks up the brew and drinks it down in almost one whole gulp. He looks back to Alatariel.*
Thank you again, please do not follow me. I imagine this won't be pretty. *He turns and walks out of the taverns front door. A very short while of silence passes. Then from outside in the alleyway on the side of the tavern something can be heard that sounds like a muffled scream. Then silence again.* |

Calliope hears a scream and drops the bowl she was going to force Jericho to eat. Looks out of the kitchen then opens the back door. With a stunned look on her face...she finds Jericho lying in the alleyway unconscious.

Without hesitation, she runs back into the Inn yelling, "Re'Anna, Jericho has collapsed in the alleyway...please come,,I don't know what to do! She is shaking like a leaf and in such panic.

With a stunned look on her face...she finds Jericho lying in the alleyway unconscious. *Jericho is lying there with one of the rags he took from the bar stuffed in his mouth and half the bottle of liquor he took is gone. Wrapped around his hand that had the ring on it is the other cloth he took from the bar. That cloth is wrapped tight around the hand and covered in blood. It also looks like some of the liquor was poured over it.* |

RéAnna runs back to see Jericho passed out.
Damn fool. he's cut his bloody finger off. Caliope, help me try to get him out of this filth before he gets gangrene . We need to find out what exactly he's done |
with Caliope's help , they drag his comatose body back into the bar.
RéAnna attempts to check him over to see if he has done anything else to himself, like cut his throat. Seeing that nothing else is wrong with him, she undoes the hand to assess the damage he has done. Caliope, get me some clean rags and some clean water. |

She runs out the back door and nestles beside him, placing his head on her lap. She wonders to herself, why did I say such harsh things to my friend...she grabs the hand with the bloody cloth around it and can see the ring glow glow on the ground next to a severed finger...She fears his pain is great and will not allow anyone to know that he is weak...Such passion for someone outside of her race...
