it doesn't have to be dinner...People are just boring and ask that because they are afraid of rejection...it can be a movie,taking a walk,dancing... Movies suck no communication, LOL!!! I rather go by myself cant get to know someone in a theatre, unless you sit all the way on the top  row

thats why I prefer afternoon outdoor dates, no hiding from good old fashioned day light

It's nice to see how they interact with others, and that can be done at a coffee shop just as easily as having an entire meal.
It doesn't matter to me, although if you're going to use dinner as a first date, I'd choose Teppinyaki (Japanese cuisine). It's interactive and usually gets a few laughs and gives you something to look at while you're eating. Costs a bit more, but it's definitely worth it. Plus it's kind of neat to engage in conversations with the other people sitting next to you. I kinda hate it when it's too quiet at dinner so you can hear all the chomping, and someone's food is always cold while the other one is chowing down listening. |
