Gonna get some work done around here today. Visit with my grandson. He's 20 so he doesn't come around to often. When he does we have a good time.

Worked almost 12 hours yesterday. Need to get all my housework done today before taking a few days off. Laundry, mow lawn, load up wood for fires in the woodstove on cool evenings, have some phone calls to make, move stuff into new storage shed, and by then it will be time to make dinner. Hopefully, I'll have a bit of time tonight to relax before starting my work week.

I am working on a quilt for a friend this week. The seventh of October it will be 10 yrs since we lost our Mom to cancer.So I wrote a poem to be put in the local paper about her Garden.My Mom always had a huge vegetable garden on our farm we always had homemade perserves and fresh,strawberries,raspberries and currants.Many realitives benefited from her efforts.

Sounds as if your Mom was a lot like mine. I lost mine 40 years ago but I remember her garden.

No bonnie it's not in Texas, not even close I am in Kitchener, Ontario,Canada.Funny how some of the cities in the states have the same names.My dads farm is about 30 miles away I have to take the greyhound bus to get there since my car died a slow death lol
Speaking of greyhound Hi ya neighbour! Bonnie, greyhound and I are about an hour away from each other.And hope that we can connect sometime soon. |
