Ya, shakes are good too, cept the taste, just try to eat around 50-100 grams within hour of your workout, because thats when your muscles are absorbing it to repair the most. And, I have to disagree...your body can only assimilate around 40 grams of protein at a time. |

You want carbs if you excersice anyway, otherwise you burn protein(your muscle) instead.

i can't take creatine, or protein, i had renal failure a few years ago, so i get my supplements through the food i eat.

You want to overload it though, also after time your body will be able to absorb more. Also want to eat probably 10-20 before.

Ya, youll notice it in your workout too. If you eat something like spagetti the night before you will notice how much extra energy you have.

Credentials? I'm a former personal trainer, nutritionist and gym owner, and I took an awful lotta physiology classes. But, in reality, unfortunately in this industry, credentials don't mean much, as it is not well-regulated. Everyone's an expert!

Pretty much true, I usually go by what people I have seen perform say, because if they actually do it and show results, then chances are it works.
