I'm with you on that JT
not that I have any neighbors close but the week enders come up and camp not too far off about a half mile and its not the music that wakes me its the clowns that bust out there orv's and drive back and forth all night trying to kill themselves so I wait until like 5:30-6:00 and bust out the slightly modified dirt bike and buz their camp a few times or until I am sure enough of them are awake and disgruntal

on a friday night?...probably not. But if it was to the point that it was really really distubing my sleep i would go over and ask them politely to turn it down...or i'd join the party and just deal with my job in the morning

Myself I have next door neighbors that have there party's on the weekends I can hear the music if I'm outside. But if I'm in the house with the tv on I can't hear them I have never called the cops but the ones that live behind me have before shsh it is not that loud if it don't bother me and hell I'm a lot closer why should it bother them.
