or the last time I know! It's worth noting, because, just like the Pvt. Lynch thing, the whole story turned out to be fiction designed to ramp up the hyper-nationalism that in fact covers 2 of the indicators of fascism, false misleading news stories controlled and created by Government and the style of Nationalism that keeps a fascist system running strong. There's quite a bit of speculation about what happened here, one of Pat's family members said that they knew Pat was not happy with the way the war was being fought and had been in touch with several antiwar groups, his plan being to speak out against it when he came home. Then he's dead and all of a sudden we have this big fake story about how he died. |

I think it was the History Channel or Discovery Channel that had a really good special about what happened to Pat. It was 2 hours or so and had animation recreation of the incident that made things very clear.
Pat never should have died and I hate to say this but it was partly his fault. The thing that really got me angry was how his own men acted afterwards especially with his brother Kevin in the same company. Shameful how they kept it from Kevin. |

Nationalism killed him. And many millions of others before him, and many millions yet to come
