You told me I was pretty,
You spent your time with me.
Asked me of importance,
Of what could future be.

It's been a while, a long while,
Since someone thought that I,
Was worth the time to look at, spend,
Beyond endearing wiles.

I am not very different from,
The many beauties here.
Hoping to come home to,
Warmth and love, your cheer.

And you, told me I was pretty,
A girl can grow forever,
Knowing love means what he says
