Jtevans, Did LinuxXP work out? I'd never heard of it. still haven't gotten it yet.the DL speed keeps dropping to 10 kbs ,so i'm trying to find a link that isn't FTP |

When I first tried Ubuntu, the pc would keep crashing during the install. It was a 1ghz emachine thing, and it would just not install. Debian installed from the internet, Fedora worked too, but just not Ubuntu. It may be just a particular part combo working against you.
Let me know what you think of Linux-XP though. Especially if they have a live cd. |

Friday i'm ordering a bunch of computer hardware upgrades,so i'm going to wait until i get them installed before i try.mines kinda slow compared to most right now,so that could be my problem with installations
