Starting? The econonmy is like air, its always there...it is a constant ongoing tug of war. The economy crisis didn't "sneek" up on us. One of the biggest "pullers" in this tug of war is infact fear of a crisis, a crash, and economic hissy fit. What we need to do is not look up and say "the sky is falling, the sky is falling"....we need not pull out of the stock markets when prices drop...We need to take advatage of the low shares/rates/etc. The economy isn't "falling apart" it is doing exactly what we have been leading it to do. I could write novels!! Novels on how to correct the slant in economics and division of class!!! But instead I feel like just saying "The economy is a pain in the ass"

My finance teacher was clear. He said the money you are getting off your taxes is only a loan. Eventually you will have to pay it back with interest.

What ticks me off is paying for people's bad mortgages. I didn't go into one knowing the problems. Why should they get my money and reap the benefits of making a bad financial decision?

That's so wrong.

If the media is influencing the american public to drive the economy towards "certain doom" I need to move to a less impressionable country.laugh Although the above response does make this theory more believable.

What percentage do you believe the american public actually has control of on the current state of economics?
