_ A Storm on the Horizon _
By Dusty LeBaron What is that dark cloud glooming?, it's tales of war that is blooming, Nations and people becoming suicidal, Scandels and money becoming their Idol. Iraq and Iran, shooting nuclear missles, men on a mission, then their families to a vigil, I see a storm brewing over to the East, the poor are hungry, and the rich will feast, feeding the leftovers to killer beasts. A tornado approaches, visually spinning amuck, this country is slowing, it almost is stuck. maybe one day, that shelter will come, to cover our soldiers, and make terrorism run. Now I see it, the storm has past, The land of the free, America, again at last. This poem is dedicated to all the people that have suffered from the events of this crazy "war". I hope you enjoy it. |
