But why not just help them move to another viable crop. These farmers aren't getting rich off their fields but others are and others die because of it. The D.E.A. must be having fits. |

Karma I saw that article too. It is absolutely the stupidest thing I have ever heard of. Why the hell don't we just pay them not to grow it. We pay our farmers not to grow corps it's nothing new, we could just expand the program to include Afganistan.

military intelligence I saw that too and thought the same thing... Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. How much money is spent fighting the drug war by this country. Then turn around and spend more on helping it along. Military Intelligence indeed!!
