I told a couple family members that I'd joined an online dating site, which they said must be out of desperation. I don't know, it kind of made me feel ashamed!  I was wondering if anyone has encountered similar remarks, and how they deal with it?! (also I need some reassurance!)
Thanks so much~ Sure have, and finally talked a couple of them into trying it. They met the people they are now with!  It seems weird to some, but there is nothing to be ashamed of, just enjoy the company.

Thanks so much~ As with any other internet based social gathering, I'm more apt to make friends than meet my life long mate. The real definition of what is acceptable for you is what you think is acceptable. If you're meeting new people and making new friends, you're doing something right, no matter what the media is you're using. |
