Topic: Valentines Day | |

I could use a bit of advice. I've been dating a very nice gentleman for
2 months; what would you recommend as a Valentine's gift? If you have any suggestions for his son's 14th birthday, I'd love to hear those too! |

Hmmmmmm try giving him a bottle of his favorite cologne for his son 14
B-Day if he love video games find out the kind he like to play and don't have:) Good luck:) |

Hmmm good question. I do not know were the two of you are in your
relationship as different people seem to be in different areas at different times of a relationship. Are the two of you close? Have you (sorry to ask) been intimate with him yet? Cause if so you could always cook him his favorite dinner with candle light and soft music. Maybe put on an ice cuddling movie afterwards. |

Good suggest whisper but I need to go to cooking school first before I
cook my man a special dinner LOL |
Well I will let you in on my little secret. Find a place that sells home
cooked meals that could be passed off as your own. Plate them before he comes over. And nobody ever has to know. All though Joe knows I can't cook. Even said if we ever met I am not allowed to step on foot into the kitchen...lol. |

I got you girlfriend but my man is long distance and won't get to see
until next month so I'm just e-mailing him a card Valentines Day LOL |

I think I've figured out the valentine part of this; Rod Stewart is
performing in Charlottesville in a few months; tickets go on sale next week . . . a couple tickets maybe? |
OnALark I'd say it all depends on their likes and dislikes you need to
know each one's likes and go from there on what to get for them |
DUH?? Don't you realize why I asked for help? I DON'T know their likes
and dislikes . . . I just met the man |
If you really just met, I wouldn't go overboard, to early to know if it
is worth it. Too much might push him away, scared. K.I.S.S Keep It Simple Sister |

I agree with Sage. A lunch or dinner out would be appropriate. I
wouldn't rush to buy the son b-day presents yet. Kids are pretty perceptive.......... |

Sorry, Lily. I didn't mean to offend anyone. I'll change it.

Yes do keep it simple. Specially since your new into the relationship.
And I would not get anything for the son yet. Unless the bf has hinted your invited to a family party. Then I would get him a gift card to a store he would like. |

Thanks everyone. Tneal, yes I have been invited to a family birthday
dinner. The gift card is what I was considering for his son. And, believe me all, I could NOT scare this guy off; he's trying to move this along a bit to quickly for me. But he's a great guy and I want to give him a chance. I'll keep it simple; don't want to give him the wrong idea. |
