Topic: She Crumbles | |

A song plays
She slips back in time Remembering those moments Of love and lust As tears slide down her cheeks Aching for his touch Needing to hear him once more Reaching over and shutting off the radio Slamming out the door Needing to be away from those memories Away from the room he last stood in Echoes of his last words Still reverberate through out the house Bouncing off her heart Hands shaking as she digs for her keys Just gotta get out Get away, shut it all off As she reaches across to start the truck Her sleeve slides up Scars from the needles showing A sharp reminder of what went wrong The tears come harder and faster now As she lays her head upon the steering wheel A broken heart, never to heal Unable to drive, unable to think She just sits and cries Wishing she could move on That she could forget... |
