I just read this artical and I just started crying. I have always hated zoos. Just the thought of animals being held in captivity just did not seem right to me. They deserve to be out in there natural home. You do not see us humans being displayed to the whole world do you? OK, sorry getting off topic here. But people told me that they are safe there and a lot of them would never make it out in the wild.

Well this story just blew all that reasoning out the window. I will never EVER step foot in side a zoo AGAIN.

I should also tell you that the head line of the paper (It is a local one) Rudolph is Dead

only injured or endangered animals should be in zoos

have you ever looked into the eyes of the large primates in the zoo

Im not saying its right but they are doing it for the same reasons that you are alowed to kill more male deer during huntin season. If a male dies then another male will step up to its place if a female dies then there is no other female that can take her place. Even still they could have considered selling them to pivate ranches.
