The rain clouds have passed The winds have calmed Gentle splashes fall down from the young leaves A gentle quite symphony , soft bird songs Sweet song of the creek as it tumbles over the rocks I lay back in the grass, soaking in the remaining rain Sinking into the symphony , becoming still Melding with the grasses and rain drops The scents of the earth . the rain, the grass I breathe in deeply, inhaling it all Holding it deep within my memory The calm after the storm....
