Maybe I can tape him down to something. I have some duct tape! wrap him in a big towel but if you splint him he might tear it off any way , hard to say with out seeing him is he acting differently besides favoring his leg?

No, he wont stay in the house. He just wont put weight on it and I can tell its hurting him.
