A troop is a soldier.

The Fiqures for Australia are changing rapidly as we speak. Their new PM has notified Malaki that they are pulling all soldiers from Iraq by Spring. They are now 900 strong.

The British are not active in a combat role, and the Polish never have been. They are in a support role confined to bases and training Iraqi forces.

From the Pentagon:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21210031/

Defense experts say the shrunken coalition probably won’t make much of a difference because most of the non-U.S. forces have largely stuck to non-combat roles.

“This is a U.S. and Iraqi coalition — nothing more and nothing less,” said Anthony H. Cordesman, former director of intelligence assessment at the Pentagon and now an analyst with the private Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington.

(We have all seen what the Iraqi military are doing!)<--Me

“A British withdrawal and that of other countries really doesn’t matter very much. They’re playing a very limited role,” he said Tues., Oct. 9, 2007!

Fanta, I'm studying two posts back. You said 3,600 troops in South Korea and 136 troops in Latvia.

So..does this mean 3,600 soldiers in South Korea and 136 soldiers in Latvia?

I didn't realize that we were in so many countries.

Just think of the boost it would give to the big 3 Automakers, and Boeing to produce all those tanks, planes and helicopters!

Then Hollywood would have some new material, they are getting stagnant!

We could brainwash 2 or 3 more generation of kids to be warriors while we were at it!

WAR, WAR, I say. Embrace the neo-con philosophy!! Woo, woo...drinker drinker drinker

Yes I did, but thats too quick and easy.

We have 60 million available for death and 2.5 million becoming available each year!!!

Heck we could carry on for years before we kill off all those..
Then we could start on the old folks! Getting close to retirement and SS, ship em out....
