So, Age of Conan is due out in a few weeks and I need a new system to support it (laptop)...ive been to a million websites, ebay, etc and trying to find the best deal for what Im able to spend.

Currently, all I want would be a 15" with a core 2 duo processor ( 2 MHz+) with 2+Gig Ram, 800MHz FSB, with 2M+ cache, with a 512 Nvidia 8600+ series...that type of system I cant find for under $1,300....anyone else know of some good websites. Cheapest websites Ive found is Cyperpowerpc.com and Costco.com

I would say Newegg. Or if you're feeling adventurous you could try Ebay or Craigslist.

You want THAT for under $1300? Yeah, good luck with that. Maybe if you didn't want a super laptop you could get one for that much.

To tell the truth, gaming and laptop dont really go together.

Good luck with your search! Those are the specs for my laptop and I payed almost $1400 for mine! But since then they have put out new models. You can try HP, that is what mine is and has everything that you are seeking.

Unfortunately, "laptop" and "gaming" don't really go hand-in-hand, as you're asking what is a traditionally a non-performance platform to do things that a performance platform would normally do. Laptops were originally meant for portability and connectability (that's what all those connectors are for), not necessarily for hardcore apps and gaming.

The reason for why that is is simple- it takes a hell of a lot of engineering to make a laptop do what a gaming desktop can do (but with less engineering), IN ADDITION to making it so that you can carry it around with you.

Even then, most legitimate gaming laptops (from Alienware or Voodoo or other specialized manufacturers) will set you back a fair amount, as they've got the tip-top components.

It's as the saying goes- if you want performance, you've got to pay for it.

With that said, there ARE options to be had. Your best bet would be to try Dell (yeah, I know... but you wanted it cheap, right?) which has begun to get into the niche gaming laptop market recently. There are other manufacturers you could try, but your mileage will vary.

You can also check out maximumpc.com, which is a website to a PC tech magazine- they've got loads of info with regard to stuff like laptops and might even have info on an OEM that will have what you want.

Thats kind of what I was saying. If you buy a laptop for gaming, especially if you want to go cheap, it wont be long before its outdated.

If you are still interested check this out.

You can get a pretty good Sager with the processor you want(this one is 3MB cache and 2.1 Ghz) 2 gigs of ram and a 8600Gt for under $1100

I forgot to mention. Since its a custom PC site, it doesn't come with any software. If you still have your stuff from your old computer and still have licenses on it (most come with more than one) This wont be a problem.

I recommend Dell's outlet store on their website. I recently bought an M1330 with all the bells and whistles, including solid state hard drive. To build this machine new would have been roughly $2400 and I got it for $1300 including same warranty as new. There was a minor scuff on the exterior and that was it.

Hey, thanks for the update. Enjoy your new system, it sounds nice! Good call on the 64-bit to take full advantage of the memory. My laptop is nice but the most gaming I do these days is Yahoo Cribbage so I am easy to please! I am mad good at Wii Tennis, though. Cheers!
